The EURYDICE mask made of 925 silver in a unique design is a deeply moving art object full of symbolism, capturing the fragile beauty of the soul.
It is the fourth creation in my SILVER MIRAGE series – a tribute to loss, pain and the longing for healing.
Eurydice is derived from a figure in Greek mythology who walks between life and death; thus, this mask represents the invisible, the lost – and the silent power that awakens in pain. Its fractured surface tells stories – traces of pain, of injury.
Engraved on the back is: PAX CORDIS – Peace of mind.

The value of an Australian opal is determined by the interplay of various characteristics: play-of-color, brightness, pattern, body tone, shape, and the quality of the cut and polish.
Particularly valued are intense play-of-color, rare colors and patterns, as well as opals whose colors are visible across the entire surface. Dark body tones can further enhance the play-of-color.
Since every opal is unique, its value cannot be determined solely by its carat weight.
