💍 Ring size made easy – How to find your perfect fit
Choosing the right ring size is important and not that complicated. With a few simple tips, it's quite easy. The most accurate way is, of course, to have your ring measured directly by a jeweler, but there are also practical ways to determine the right size at home.
Option 1: Using the Ring Multisizer (measuring tape)
This ring measuring tape – also known as a ring multisizer – shows you the right EU size directly. It is a practical measuring aid that looks like a mini belt works. Place it around your finger and tighten it carefully. Make sure that the ring not only sits comfortably in the selected size, but also fits easily over your knuckle and can be removed again. Now you can find your EU ring size. can be read directly.
A ring multisizer is worth it – small, inexpensive, and always handy when you want to give rings as a gift or shop for them yourself.
💍 Option 2: Measuring an existing ring
If you already have a ring that fits well, you can measure its inner diameter in mm and multiply it by 3.14 . The result is your EU ring size.
Example:
➤ Inner diameter: 17.2 mm
➤ 17.2 × 3.14 = approx. 54 mm circumference
➤ Your size: EU 54
What to consider:
🕐 Time of day: Fingers are often a little narrower in the morning.
🌡️ Temperature: Rather thin in winter, slightly swollen in summer.
🖐️ Left vs. right hand: Both hands can be different sizes.
📏 Ring width: Wider rings fit more tightly – perhaps choose half a size larger.
📆 Change over time: Your ring size can also change.

💎 Care instructions
Silver and gold jewelry is waterproof, but careful handling is recommended (especially with opal jewelry) to preserve its beauty:
💧 Avoid contact with chemicals – please remove them when showering, swimming, cleaning, etc. Perfume, chlorine, lotions, and detergents can damage both opals and silver.
☀️ Protect from strong sunlight – Opals are sensitive to intense UV radiation and strong temperature fluctuations.
📦 Store carefully & protect from impacts – Silver and opals are relatively soft materials and are sensitive to pressure or impact.
🧼 Cleaning – Gently clean with mild soap and lukewarm water – e.g. with a soft toothbrush.
🌟 Polishing – Silver can tarnish if not worn regularly—this is completely normal and not a quality defect. To remove the oxidation layer and polish gold, use the included impregnated cleaning cloth.

✨ Handmade jewelry from Bern
Each piece of jewelry is created in my studio in Bern – from design to shaping, soldering and polishing to setting the gemstones – all crafted by me personally with love and passion.
The opals come from a few select cutters in Switzerland and Australia, whom I know personally and whose craftsmanship I greatly admire. So you can be assured that each stone is genuine, high-quality, and unique.
For the metal, I use fine silver, sustainable 925 silver, and/or certified OEKO gold from Gyr AG. Each piece of jewelry bears the required responsibility stamp of my registered trademark in accordance with Swiss Precious Metals Law.
This way, you will receive pieces of jewelry that are not only unique and valuable, but also give you an unforgettable, enchanting experience when wearing them.
